Logging into the back end of a Wordpress Website

Steps to logging into the back end of a Wordpress Website

1. Open Your Web Browser: Launch your preferred web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

2. Enter Website URL: In the address bar, type the URL of the website. Press Enter to navigate to the site.

3. Access the Login Page: Once the website loads, you should see the homepage or any landing page. To access the backend, add "/gd_dashboard" to the end of the website URL in the address bar and press Enter. For example, if your website URL is "example.com", type "example.com/gd_dashboard" and hit Enter.

4. Login Page: You will be redirected to the WordPress login page. This page typically has fields for entering your username or email address and password.

5. Enter Credentials: Enter the username or email address associated with your WordPress account in the provided field. Then, type your password into the password field.

6. Click "Login": Once you have entered your credentials, click on the "Login" button. This will authenticate your details and log you into the backend dashboard.

Logout: Once you have finished working in the backend, it's important to log out of your WordPress account for security purposes. You can do this by hovering over your username in the top right corner of the dashboard and selecting "Log Out" from the dropdown menu.
