Using Graphic Detail's "VaultRE API Feed" plugin, your property listings will automatically synchronise with VaultRE every 1
hour; so if you publish a new listing on the VaultRE platform and you
are happy to wait for an hour before it appears on your website, then
you don't have to do anything.
If, however,
you want to get your new listing to appear sooner, you can log into
your website's administrator dashboard and there you will find a
"VaultRE Settings" menu item in the left administrator menu:
Click on that to go to the VaultRE Settings page.
Scroll down the settings page until you find the section headed, "Download Listings/Solds from VaultRE to Website Database":
There
you will see information about when the listings and solds were last
synchronized and when they are next scheduled to synchronize again.
To synchronise your current listings immediately, make sure "Listings" is selected in the dropdown field and click "DOWNLOAD".
A
processing icon will appear over the page for a few seconds while the
synchronisation is running. Once completed, the settings page will
simply reload back to the top of the page.
Your updated listings should now be live on the front end of your website.
Likewise,
if you want to immediately update your sold listings, make sure "Solds"
is selected in the dropdown field and click "DOWNLOAD":
Just as with synchronising current listings, a processing icon will appear over the page for a few seconds while the
synchronisation is running. Once completed, the settings page will
simply reload back to the top of the page.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY:
In
the unlikely event that something happens to go horribly wrong and a
major clean up of the property listings database is required, a little
further down the settings page is a section headed "Purge Properties
Database":
If you click the "PURGE DATABASE" button, it will completely delete the entire property listings table from the website's database.
You
will then need to go to the "Download Listings/Solds from VaultRE to Website Database" section and manually download
both the listings and solds in order to recreate and repopulate the
property listings table from scratch. This should generate a whole clean, fresh, new
set of data for the website to display on the front end.
